That is your personal opinion, which yes you are entitled to... but please stop stating it as fact. you're probably wrong. I remember the same thing being said about counterstrike, day of defeat and many other games during their beta. There is a huge difference between DUST and these games, and it is a factor that will likely keep people comming back. Persistance. The world is not just a series of battles that have no effect other than to modify your personal Kill/Death ratio. You'd be surprised how many people will forgive problematic gameplay simply because their actions can have a lasting effect on the game world.
While I am sure there are a several thousand players who will...there are millions who won't. There is no excuse to release a game that includes problematic gameplay while still in beta, look at SWTOR...arguably the biggest IP you can tap into...loses half of it's players in the first 6 months because of problematic gameplay. Fix the game, or don't release it. |

Not me, I'm in the IT department for a large university (like 19,000 students and 3500 staff) and our in-house programmers are ********...every time I read our daily patch notes...they consist of a "fix" being deployed...and then it getting rolled back because it was broken...and we have mirrored test servers for them to test on too... |

I know that mountain lion has some weird security settings for programs downloaded from the web, instead of double clicking or running from your dock, you have to right (2 finger) click and select run for it to work sometimes.
